In an older study conducted by Fairleigh Dickinson university, it was found that people who only watch Fox News are actually less informed than people who watch no news at all. The president is one of them
Take note. For those who didn’t study history, this is where we’re headed next unless we make some serious changes
How much did you wages rise last year?
China’s ultra-wealthy are driving the trend, adding two new billionaires per week last year, and growing at a rate almost double that of the Americas and Europe.
“The U.S. government does not represent the interests of the majority of the country’s citizens, but is instead ruled by those of the rich and powerful, a new study from Princeton and Northwestern universities has concluded.”
Government serves special interests, not people.
“Legalizing marijuana nationwide would create more than one million new jobs within the next decade, a new study says.
Analysis from New Frontier Data, a firm that focuses on the marijuana industry, also found that the federal government would create at least $131.8 billion in federal tax revenue over the next eight years if cannabis were legalized in all 50 states.”
With federal legalization, there would be 782,000 jobs created immediately, a report said.
“according to research from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco published Monday. The hit will cost the average American $70,000 in lifetime income, they estimate.”
America never made up the growth it lost in the 2008 global financial crisis and the recession it triggered. A decade later, U.S. households are still counting the cost.
Neoliberalism demands you stop driving and don’t use any electricity for 22 hours per day so these companies can keep polluting.
Global warming isn’t an individual problem and it won’t be solved by individuals. It’s a societal and economic issue and needs to be treated that way
A relatively small number of fossil fuel producers and their investors could hold the key to tackling climate change
That study going around on Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All plan comes with a big catch — the US would actually be saving money overall on healthcare
Medicare for all would cost less while covering every single American with quality healthcare. Medicare for all WILL SAVE MONEY. $2 trillion saved over ten years while covering every single person sounds like a bargain to me!
“According to the Mercatus model, total health spending would actually come in approximately $303 billion lower in 2031 than under current projections, with $7.35 trillion going to healthcare that year versus the $7.65 trillion currently expected. Total national health spending would be $2 trillion lower between 2022 and 2031 under the Medicare for All plan, according to the report.”
A new report showed that Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All plan would cause healthcare costs for the federal government to skyrocket, but would also end up saving the entire country money.
“The conservative-leaning Mercatus Center at George Washington University — which has gotten millions in donations from the Charles Koch Foundation — accidentally made an argument in favor of Medicare for All.
When crunching the numbers, Blahous’ report found that Sen. Sanders’ plan for single-payer healthcare would provide more than $2 trillion in net savings in the program’s first decade.”
Conservative think tank figures out Medicare for all would SAVE MONEY. Next time someone asks “how will we pay for it”. Tell them it saves money, what will we do with the extra $2 trillion in savings

Old but good. I bet if the study were done again today the Fox viewers would be even more ignorant
“They found that someone who watched only Fox News would be expected to answer 1.04 domestic questions correctly compared to 1.22 for those who watched no news at all. “
Media outlets such as Fox News and MSNBC have a negative impact on people’s current events knowledge while NPR and Sunday morning political talk shows are the most informative sources of news, according to Fairleigh Dickinson University’s newest PublicMind survey.
