I’ve heard some ridiculous arguments regarding teacher strikes and wage increases, asserting that because teachers get time off in the summer, it’s justifiable to pay them less. To that I say, what about Congress? In 2018 Congress is expected to be in office less than half of the work year! Talk about freeloaders.
