Donald Trump’s tax plan is an absolute disaster. His plan to slash the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 15 percent would provide a $2.4 trillion tax break to corporations, at a time when 1 out of 5 large, profitable corporations don’t pay a nickel in federal income taxes. No, Donald Trump, we will not give even more tax breaks to multi-billion corporations while children in America are going hungry and veterans are sleeping out on the streets.
Anybody plan to partake in May Day actions?
I urge everyone to skip work if you can. Get sick, allergy season is horrible, take a vacation day, or just call out if you can afford to do so.
If you do work, I’d suggest doing the absolute bare minimum to not be fired.
Happy May Day folks! ✊???
“This is nothing less than the largest wealth transfer that has ever occurred, if it were passed.” – James Henry, Tax Justice Network
The White House has outlined a plan to give the nation’s millionaires and billionaires a massive tax break while adding trillions of dollars to the U.S. deficit. The plan would lower the corporate tax rate to 15 percent, end the estate tax and end the alternative minimum tax—a move that would solely…

The Republican Party really want a Article 5 Convention of the States, meaning that according to Article 5 of the United States Constitution, If two-thirds of the States call for a Convention to propose Amendments to the Constituiton and three-quarters of the States ratifiy those Amendments, the US Constitution can be completly changed.
What the Republicans really want is…
To get rid of the “General Welfare” Clause as it has been used to create Social Protections that they have always hated.
The severly restrict of the “Commerce Clause” becuase in their view it has been used in Federal overeach such as during the New Deal and the Civil Rights Era.
Term-Limits, meaning that People cannot make a Career out of being an elected office holder as Bernie Sanders has done, therefore only the wealthy can run for election and be revolved out of office.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) proposed a series of constitutional amendments on Friday that would so fundamentally alter our founding document that it would be akin to throwing out the system of…
It’s time to rally around this!
“Senator Bernie Sanders stepped into that breach Monday afternoon, introducing a bill with Senator Elizabeth Warren, Representative Keith Ellison, and several other members of Congress. The College for All Act aims to eliminate tuition and fees at public four-year colleges and universities for students from families that make up to $125,000 per year. The bill would make community college tuition-free for all income levels.”
President Donald Trump doesn’t appear willing nor interested in addressing astronomical student-debt levels, which long since crested above $1 trillion.

Single payer will save money and lives!
“Well, the Republican plan, which was defeated, was just a meaner version of the Affordable Care Act. Unfortunately, both of those acts have left the private insurance industry in the center of the healthcare system. And we actually need to get the private health insurance industry out. Their overhead and profits and the overhead that they impose on doctors and hospitals are costing us $500 billion annually that we do not need to be spending, $500 billion annually that we could save through a single-payer program, use that money to cover the 26 million Americans who now have no coverage, and then to improve the coverage of insured Americans, who often have insurance they can’t afford to use because of the high copayments, the high deductibles.”
On Friday, House Republicans failed to muster enough support to pass the GOP healthcare plan, which some call Trumpcare. In response, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has announced he will soon introduce a bill to create a single-payer healthcare system. Several progressive groups are backing a single…
