Joe Stiglitz and Paul Krugman, two pretty mediocre economists compared to giants like Michael Hudson are calling Trumps Budget Horrific.
Senator Joe McCarthy who did so much to dampen the appeal of Progressive politics in the United States for his own narcisistic reasons have been dead for 60 years, and died in disgrace, Bernie Sanders who ran a rather half-hearted campaign made the term “Socialist” alot less scary, though “New Deal Democrat” or “Progressive Democrat” I still a much better term for for those who seek a Progressive future.
The Speaker of the CT House, Speaker Joe Aresimowicz, will not bring the National Popular Vote bill up for a vote. Despite public support and supposedly having the votes to pass, the bill that would effectively end the Electoral College will not get a floor vote in CT due to Joe.
The last two republican presidents have come to power through the Electoral College system and through cheating – Bush was awarded the presidency from his brother, then Governor of Florida, and Daddy Bushes Supreme Court, while Trump won the Electoral College through voter purges in states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania under the Crosscheck system.
Don’t you think it’s time Democrats grew a spine and stood up for voter rights in America? When are they going to push back against GOP cheating, gerrymandering, and voter disenfranchisement?
Please leave a message on Joes page and tell him to bring this bill to a vote!
“Donnelly joins Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota as the only Democratic senators intending to vote for Gorsuch. All three senators are facing tough reelection bids next year. Seven Democratic senators have not yet announced how they will vote on the nomination.”
Inching closer to 60 votes.
