“These are pallets of asbestos, sealed with plastic and stamped with the image of the president whose EPA has just approved it for use in the United States.
We have this week started importing this asbestos from Russia, the only country that still makes it. If you are wondering why the writing encircling the picture of the president is in Russian, that’s why; it’s not an American-made product. Asbestos used to be manufactured and used worldwide, but its popularity waned sharply when the world discovered that asbestos is a particularly bad cancer-causing agent. It causes thousands of deaths in the U.S. each year to this day, 29 years after being banned.
The Russian who owns this asbestos company is a friend of that country’s president. For some reason, our president here in the U.S. has decided to let our country again import and use this known carcinogen, from this company owned by this friend of the Russian president. It’s very strange.
Today is Primary Day in a number of places. You should really get out and vote.”
