“Right-to-Work” legislation has been introduced in the New Hampshire General Court over 30 times in the last 50 years, usually falling victim to partisan checks-and-balances. These abusive laws are not a problem unique to New Hampshire: to date they have bled their way into 28 states. Time and time again, New Hampshire’s labor community has waged quiet war against this reactionary menace and won.”

There are now 100 Democratic Representatives in the House of Representatives who have co-sponsord HR 676, JusticeDemocrats.org have had a petition that has been putting pressure on Congress to get HR 676 passed, Bernie Sanders had 13,000,000 Primary Voters in 2016, if these 13,000,000 Individuals signed the Petition and then went about engaging in Activism with laser focus on HR 676 Medicare For All it would become much closer to becoming a Reality, Like Bernie Sanders says “Its time the United States end the national embarrasment of being the only developed country in the world without Universal Healthcare”.
Pick up a copy of Ralph Naders “Breaking Corporate Power: Its easier than you think”, that is a blue print for Grass Roots Activism.

“Instead of fighting for working class interests, the Democratic party, under the direction of the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC), effectively abandoned them by adopting economically conservative policies. To differentiate themselves from Republicans at the national level, Democrats also focused on socio-cultural wedge issues:
The Democratic Leadership Council, the organization that produced such figures as Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Joe Lieberman and Terry McAuliffe, has long been pushing the party to forget blue-collar voters and concentrate instead on recruiting affluent, white-collar professionals who are liberal on social issues. The larger interests that the DLC wants desperately to court are corporations, capable of generating campaign contributions far outweighing anything raised by organized labor. The way to collect the votes and — more important — the money of these coveted constituencies, “New Democrats” think, is to stand rock-solid on, say, the pro-choice position while making endless concessions on economic issues, on welfare, NAFTA, Social Security, labor law, privatization, deregulation and the rest of it.”

Outstanding! 2018 can’t come soon enough. Let’s rebuild this sick system.
The 2018 midterms are still 561 days away, but an unprecedented early surge of Democrats have already declared their candidacies for the House of Representatives, setting up what will likely be one…

Capitalism tries to abolish private and personal property after a century of scaring people by saying that socialism would abolish private and personal property.

“Deere’s just reiterated that position to a US Copyright Office inquiry on the future of the law…arguing that since the gadgets you buy have software, and since that software is licensed, not sold, you don’t really own any of that stuff. You are a licensee, and you have to use the gadget according to the license terms, which spell out where you have to buy your service, parts, consumables, apps, and so on.
The fact that the DMCA felonizes bypassing copyright locks, combined with the proliferation of copyrighted software in gadgets means that companies can turn their commercial preferences into private laws. Just design your gadget so that using is in any way apart from the official, prescribed way requires breaking a copyright lock. Now, anyone who violates your license terms is also committing a felony, punishable by five years in prison and a $500,000 fine. For a first offense.”

Is it time we collectively refer to the Democratic Party as a right wing party and the Republicans as the far right?

“While the political opposition generally views Trump or either party as about equally out of touch – with about 80 to 90 percent saying so – the Democratic Party is viewed as far more out of touch by Democrats than Trump or the GOP are by Republicans.”
Read that again. Almost half of Democrats think their party is out of touch. I wonder if, instead of yelling Russia!, their leaders yelled, Medicare for All! if it would be different.
Two-thirds of Americans think that the Democratic Party is out of touch with the country
You might not be surprised if I were to tell you that a majority of Americans think that President D…

I went to a Democratic Town Committee meeting tonight and raged out on them about the election loss and failure of the Democratic Party to do anything for working class people.
To my surprise, I got a near standing ovation, and most of the people there started talking about how horrible Hillary is / was! Many asked me to keep going and join them. Not sure if I’m ready to be a democrat, but raging out on them felt damn good.
It’s time for people to stand up and take the fight to these people. Call them out on their shit and stop letting them fail us. We need people to do this at every level, from town halls to press events. It’s time to hold the criminals accountable and kick the bums OUT!

Everybody should listen to this interview. The cumulative knowledge of Ralph Nader, Thomas Frank, and Bill Curry is beyond remarkable.
What’s Wrong With The Democratic Party | Ralph Nader Radio Hour
In a lively roundtable discussion Ralph talks to top political analysts Thomas Frank and Bill Curry about why, despite the obvious cold-hearted cruelty of the Republican agenda, the Democrats continue to lose.
