Proposed Income Tax Rate of Senator Bernie Sanders (Not Corporate Taxes, or Capital Gains, or Financial Transactions Taxes).
“He showed that young people and working-class people don’t want Democratic politicians to be in the pocket of, or actually be former executives of, Goldman Sachs.
The Democrats would do well to look at Corbyn’s success last night, and Bernie’s success last year, and to look for someone with such hopeful and broadly popular principles to rally behind in the future. Because they could win bigly”
Bernie, like Corbyn, offered hope that another world was possible. He’s exactly the kind of candidate the Democrats must rally behind in the future
“For the Berners who’ve gone into the party, they’re very clear about the agenda, which is an anti-corporate, anti-neoliberal agenda. Here in California, we know what resistance means to us. It doesn’t mean saving the ACA. It means replacing it with single payer.”
From California to Massachusetts, a grassroots revolt from the left is wresting control of the party away from the corporate establishment, one state at a time.

Sanders will take his message to the People’s Summit, an event training progressives to run for office or organize campaigns ahead of the 2018 mid-terms
France gets attacked – “they’re in our prayers”
England gets terrorized – “we’re thinking of you”
Terrorists strike Iran – “let’s put more sanctions on them and punish their population”
It’s sad how Americans only care when European countries get attacked. People in the Middle East are terrorized daily, yet I don’t see any Facebook filters or prayers for them….
Democrats think they can turn a debate about Iran sanctions into one on Russian sanctions.
Congratulations to Kansas for overcoming the governor’s veto and voting to roll back outrageous tax cuts for the wealthy that have devastated the state. Kansas has been in real trouble because the governor, Sam Brownback, pushed tax cuts for the wealthy claiming it would boost the economy. No big surprise—it didn’t work! What Governor Brownback did manage to do was create a billion-dollar hole in the state’s budget and people in Kansas suffered because of it.
Remember. Trickle down economics is a fraudulent theory designed by the rich and their think tanks in order to protect the billionaires and large corporations. At a time of grotesque income and wealth inequality, the rich do not need more tax breaks and working people and their kids do not need cuts to education or other basic needs.
What if the 13,000,000 Americans that voted for Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Primaries, made it their absoulte priority to get HR 676 Medicare For All passed through Congress and signed by the President by activism and using all tools at their disposal in educating the American Public as to what Medicare for All is and the Benefits therof, polls show that 55-60% of the American public support a Single-Payer Medicare For All System, and that is without any true National Campaign.
